Dev tools products

Developer tools are, on balance, the most honest category here. The audience checks things, the products are usually inspectable, and inflated claims get caught by the users rather than by us. What verification adds is the commercial half: a dev tool with visible GitHub activity still tells you nothing about whether anyone pays for it.

That is the gap this ranking narrows. A verified listing tells you the domain owner claims the project, which is the difference between a maintained tool and an abandoned repository someone else posted.

The category spans CLIs and local tooling, hosted developer services and APIs, testing and observability, and the infrastructure products that sit under all of it. Open-source projects are welcome and are ranked on the same signal as commercial ones.
