How tags work here
Makers add their own tags at submission, which means this list reflects how founders actually describe their products rather than a taxonomy we invented. That is more useful for finding things and messier to look at, and we have chosen the useful version.
A tag gets its own ranked page once three or more live products carry it. Below that threshold the page would be a list of one or two items with no ranking to speak of, so the tag still appears in this list but does not become an indexed page of its own.
Tag pages rank the same way as everything else on the board: verified domain control first, community votes second. A tag page is therefore a genuinely ordered answer to a narrow question rather than an alphabetical dump.
Tags are not moderated for style, only for abuse. Two tags meaning the same thing will both appear if makers used both, and we merge them only when the split is clearly hurting discovery.

- Why do some tags not have their own page?
- A tag needs at least three live products before it gets a page. Below that there is nothing meaningful to rank.
- Can I change my product's tags after launch?
- Yes, from the product settings. Tag changes take effect on the next revalidation, usually within an hour.
