Where we are featured

Most directories that list a product ask for a link back. Putting every one of those links in the site footer would push a few hundred outbound links onto every page RankCert serves, which dilutes the internal linking the board depends on and reads to a crawler as a link farm rather than a launch board.

Keeping them on one page honours the same request with one link per directory, from a page that says plainly what the link is for. Every listing above is a directory that lists us; none of them paid for the placement and none of them affect a product's position on the board.

The list is pruned when a directory goes dark or starts selling placement, because a reciprocal link to a dead or paid list is worth nothing to either side.
