Terms

“We” and “us” means RankCert, operated by Sourabh Singh. “You” means anyone using rankcert.com — reading the board, voting, listing a product, buying a sponsor slot or calling the API.

• You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live. If you are listing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to bind it.
• Reading the board and using the free tools needs no account. Voting, listing and connecting evidence do.
• If you do not accept these terms, stop using the site. That is the whole enforcement mechanism for a reader.

• One account per person. Shared logins and accounts created to cast extra votes get removed along with the votes.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything an agent or script you authorise does with it.
• Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access. We will invalidate the sessions.
• You can delete your account from settings at any time. See the privacy policy for what that removes.

A listing is your content. We display it; we do not own it.

• You keep all rights to your product, name, logo and copy. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display them on the board, in the archive, in our RSS and markdown feeds, in the newsletter, and in social previews.
• That licence exists so the site and its feeds can function. It ends when you remove the listing, except for copies already sent to subscribers or cached by third parties.
• You must have the right to submit the product and to authorise every connection you make.
• One product per listing. Re-launching the same product in a later week is fine when something material has shipped; re-launching an unchanged product to farm a second placement is not.
• You may remove a listing at any time. We remove it from the board and the sitemap. Cached copies elsewhere are outside our control.

Verification describes evidence we could check, at the moment we checked it. It is a record, not a rating.

• Domain control. The RankCert certificate we fetch from a page your domain serves.
• Verification is not a guarantee, an endorsement, an audit, or financial advice. Do your own diligence before you buy or invest in anything you find here.
• We re-check weekly. A level can fall without notice if a connection is revoked, a badge disappears, or a record stops resolving.
• Submitting false information, or manipulating a check, means removal from the board and forfeiture of any paid placement.

• Position is computed from verified status and votes. We do not sell rank, and no amount of money moves a product up the board.
• The sponsor slot is a separate, clearly labelled placement. It is never mixed into the ranked list.
• We may adjust the ranking formula. Material changes are logged in the changelog.
• Votes bought, traded, incentivised or cast by scripts are removed. Repeat attempts remove the listing.
• A week closes at the posted time. We do not reopen a closed week or restore votes cast after it.

• No vote manipulation, fake accounts, or automated submission.
• No gambling, adult content, crypto tokens, or anything unlawful where we operate.
• No malware, phishing, scraped-content sites, or products whose main function is deceiving people.
• Do not attempt to break, overload or probe the site, and do not circumvent rate limits.
• We decide what fails these rules. We will tell you which rule and why.

We want the data to be usable. Take the cheap route rather than hammering pages.

• Use the markdown twins, the RSS feed, the API or the MCP server in preference to the HTML, and cache for at least an hour.
• Identify your client with a real user agent and a way to contact you.
• You may republish board data with attribution and a link back. You may not present it as your own dataset or resell it.
• We rate limit, and we may block a client that ignores the limits.

• One sponsor slot per ISO week, sold in advance. Prices are on the pricing page and are charged in full at booking.
• You are buying placement for a week, not a result. We do not promise clicks, signups, rankings or revenue.
• Sponsored products still have to pass acceptable use. We refuse bookings that do not, and refund them.
• Cancellations and outages are covered by the refund policy.
• Taxes are your responsibility unless your invoice says otherwise.

• The RankCert name, logo, badge artwork and site design are ours. The verification badge may be displayed by products that earned it, for as long as they hold the level.
• Articles and guides are ours. Quote them with attribution and a link; do not republish them whole.
• The free tools run in your browser or fetch one record on request. Use them for whatever you like; do not resell them as a service.

• We can remove a listing, cancel a booking or close an account that breaks these terms.
• Where the breach is honest and fixable we will say what to fix and give you a chance to fix it. Where it is manipulation, we will not.
• Paid placement that has not yet run is refunded when we remove you. Placement already run is not.

• There is no uptime guarantee. This is a small site run by a small team.
• We may change, pause or retire any feature. Anything that affects a paid slot is handled under the refund policy.
• Third-party outages — a provider, a registrar, a host — can delay a check. A level does not drop because of an outage on our side.

• The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.
• We are not liable for decisions made on the basis of a listing or a verified status, nor for indirect or consequential loss.
• Where liability cannot be excluded, it is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. For most people that is zero, because most of the site is free.
• If we publish a figure that is wrong, we correct it publicly. That is the remedy.
• Nothing here limits liability for fraud or anything else the law does not let us limit.

• Material changes are logged in the changelog and the date at the top of this page moves.
• Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting it. If you do not, delete your account.
• A change never applies retroactively to a sponsor slot you have already paid for.
