Picking a difficulty
Mixed groups usually work best on medium, with a hard word as a tie-breaker.

What are good Pictionary words?
Concrete nouns with a distinctive silhouette work best - a lighthouse, a kangaroo, a parachute. Words that only differ from another word by detail, like cup versus mug, are frustrating rather than difficult.
What is the difference between Pictionary and charades?
Pictionary words are drawn, so they favour things with a clear shape. Charades are acted, so they favour actions and situations. Switching modes here changes the word list to match.
How long should each round be?
Sixty seconds is the standard. Ninety works better for hard words and for younger players; thirty turns the game into a sprint and rewards fast drawers over clear ones.
How many words do I need for a game?
Roughly one per player per round. Six players over five rounds is thirty words, so draw a fresh set each round rather than one long list.
Can I use these for charades at a party?
Yes. Switch to Charades and the list becomes actions and situations - proposing marriage, arguing with a satnav - that work when acted out rather than drawn.
Are the words suitable for children?
The easy level is written for children: everyday objects, nothing abstract and nothing that needs reading skill. Medium and hard assume adult general knowledge.
Can I get the same word twice?
Not within one draw - each set is unique. Across separate draws a word can reappear, since the list is shuffled fresh each time.
Do I need an account?
No. It runs in your browser, there is no signup, and nothing you generate is stored or sent anywhere.
