Most verification problems are one of four things. Work down the list before emailing.
Domain verification failing
- DNS changes take up to the previous TTL to propagate. If your old TTL was 86400, that is a full day.
- The badge must be present in the server-rendered HTML. If it is injected by client-side JavaScript, our checker will not see it.
- The badge page must be reachable without authentication and must return a 200.
Disputing a ranking
- Rank is deterministic: verified proof first, votes only as a tiebreak between products with the same proof. If your rank looks wrong, the proof has probably stopped resolving.
- Ask us to re-run the check and we will show you exactly what we saw and when.
