Why the rules are published here
A board that ranks on evidence has an obligation the ordinary launch board does not: when it changes what counts as evidence, everyone whose position depends on that definition deserves to know. Silently reweighting a score is the single easiest way to turn an objective-looking ranking into an editorial one, and it is common enough that assuming otherwise would be naive.
So every change to how the board score is computed is written here with a date, and where the change is material it is published before it takes effect rather than after. That includes weight changes, new proof types, and changes to how often verification expires. If your product moves and nothing about it changed, this page should explain why.
Corrections are logged here too, with what was wrong, how long it was wrong for, and when it was fixed. This is uncomfortable to maintain and it is the point: a site that publishes other people's failed re-checks has no standing to hide its own mistakes.
Product changes - new pages, new tools, interface work - are logged in the same list without special ceremony. They are the less important half of this page, and they are here because a changelog that only appears when something goes wrong is not read by anyone.
