Ranking ai products on evidence
AI is the category with the widest gap between what products claim and what they can show. Nearly every entry describes itself as AI-powered, a large share are a prompt template over someone else's model, and the ones with real retention are impossible to pick out of a list ordered by upvotes. Sorting the listings whose owners will stand behind them from the ones nobody claims is the crudest possible filter and still a useful one.
A verified listing here is worth more than it sounds. AI tools appear and vanish quickly, and a proof that is still resolving months after launch means someone is still tending the domain the listing points at.
