Free SEO Checker
Run eleven on-page checks against any URL: title, description, canonical, headings, alt text, Open Graph, word count and indexability, with the exact fixes.

An SEO checker fetches a URL and runs the on-page checks that decide whether a page can rank at all: title and description length, canonical, indexability, heading structure, alt text coverage, Open Graph tags and word count. Each failed check comes with the specific fix.

Frequently asked questions
What does the score mean?
It is the share of eleven on-page checks the page passes. It is a completeness measure, not a ranking prediction - a page can score 100 and still not rank if it has no links or no depth.
Does this replace a full site crawl?
No. This audits one URL. Site-wide problems - orphan pages, duplicate titles across templates, broken internal links - need a crawler.
Why does word count matter?
Under about 300 words of visible text, a page rarely has enough substance to rank for anything competitive. It is a rough signal, not a target to pad toward.
Do you run JavaScript?
No. We read the HTML your server returns, which is what a crawler reads on its first pass. If your content only appears after JavaScript runs, that is worth knowing.
How often should I re-run an on-page check?
After any template change, and once a quarter otherwise. Most on-page regressions arrive with a deploy, not with time.
What is the single highest-impact on-page fix?
A title that matches the query the page targets. Nothing else on the page moves rankings as reliably, and it is a one-line change.
Does this check Core Web Vitals?
No. Field performance data comes from Chrome's CrUX report and needs real user traffic. Use PageSpeed Insights for that side.
Why does a page pass every check and still not rank?
On-page work makes a page eligible, not competitive. If the pages ranking above you have hundreds of referring domains and yours has none, the gap is authority, not tags.
