Does this send a real notification?
No. It draws an image in your browser. Nothing is sent to any phone and no app is involved.
Can I use it for app mockups?
Yes, that is the most common use. Upload your app icon, write the push copy, and drop the PNG onto a phone screenshot or a landing page.
Why is the background transparent?
So it sits on any wallpaper or screenshot you place it over. The rounded frosted banner is part of the image; everything around it is empty.
How long can the message be?
Up to four lines, the same as a collapsed iPhone banner. Anything longer is cut off, just as iOS truncates it.
Is my uploaded icon stored anywhere?
No. It is decoded and drawn on a canvas in your browser and never leaves your device.
Is it okay to make fake notifications?
For mockups, videos and jokes among friends, yes. Using one to deceive someone - a fake payment alert, a fake message from a real person - can be fraud. Keep it obviously a mockup.
