How do I change uppercase to lowercase without retyping?
Paste the text here and pick lowercase. In Word or Google Docs, Shift+F3 cycles through cases for the selected text.
What is the difference between Title Case and Sentence case?
Title Case capitalises every word. Sentence case capitalises only the first word of each sentence and any proper nouns. Headlines are usually one or the other consistently, never both.
When should I use camelCase versus snake_case?
Follow the language. JavaScript and Java use camelCase for variables, Python and Ruby use snake_case, C# and Go use PascalCase for exported names. URLs and CSS classes use kebab-case.
Why does camelCase strip my punctuation?
Because identifiers cannot contain it. Spaces and symbols become word boundaries and are removed, which is exactly what a code identifier needs.
Does Title Case capitalise small words like of and the?
Style guides disagree. AP and Chicago leave articles, short prepositions and conjunctions lowercase unless they start the title. This tool capitalises every word, so adjust the small ones by hand if your style guide cares.

How do I convert case in Excel?
UPPER(A1), LOWER(A1) and PROPER(A1) for Title Case. Excel has no built-in Sentence case function.
