India Property Register
Live this weekAll Indian land and property data in one place
About
India Property Register aggregates every village, plot, and property record from all Indian states into a single searchable page. Each plot page lists ownership, maps, deeds, taxes, rates, court cases, and public notices, with source and date for every fact. The platform unifies hundreds of separate government portals, making land data transparent and easy to access.
The case
Who it is for
Real estate professionals, investors, and developers who need reliable land data across all of India.
What is broken today
Before India Property Register, land and property information was scattered across dozens of state portals, cadastral maps, registration offices, and municipal sites. Users had to search multiple sites, reconcile different identifiers, and manually compile data, which was time‑consuming and error‑prone.
What it does about it
The service collects public government records—such as land registry entries, cadastral maps, tax registers, RERA projects, and court notices—using a common key of LGD codes and plot numbers. It then presents all facts on a single page per plot, with every datum linked to its source and timestamp. An API is also available for programmatic access.
Why not the obvious alternative
Unlike any single state portal, India Property Register provides a unified view that includes ownership, maps, deeds, taxes, rates, court cases, RERA projects, and acquisition notifications all in one place, each annotated with its source and read date. This eliminates the need to cross‑check multiple systems and ensures users see the most comprehensive set of public records for a given plot.

Questions
- Is India Property Register proof of title?
- No. The platform aggregates public records but does not issue certified copies or provide proof of title. Certified copies are issued only by the state office that maintains the record.
- How often is the data updated?
- Data is pulled from government sources on a best‑effort basis. Each fact on a plot page shows the date it was read, so users can see when the information was last refreshed.
- Do you collect personal data such as Aadhaar numbers?
- No. We only display names as published in government records and do not collect or display Aadhaar numbers, phone numbers, or email addresses.
- What is the cost of using the API?
- There is a free tier. You can register for an API key at no cost (₹50 free).
